Cake Care Instructions
Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.
Cakes/cupcakes are best consumed at room temperature. Remove the cake/cupcakes from the fridge 1 hour before serving, or from the freezer 2 hours before serving, to bring them to room temperature.

Do I need any cake-decorating experience?
Not at all! Our Cake Decorating 101 classes are designed specifically for beginners. Whether you've never decorated a cake before or simply want to improve your skills, our instructors will guide you through each step in a fun, supportive environment.
What should I bring to class?
You do not need to bring any decorating supplies. We provide the cakes or cupcakes, frosting, decorating tools, supplies, and take-home boxes. Just come ready to decorate, learn new skills, and have fun!
What age are the classes designed for?
Our Cake Decorating 101 classes are recommended for adults and kids ages 10 and older. Younger decorators may enjoy our family-friendly events, birthday parties, or Cake Camps.
Can two people decorate together?
Usually, yes! Up to two students may share one cake or set of cupcakes and decorating supplies. If each person would like their own project to decorate and take home, please reserve a separate class spot. Sharing supplies is subject to availability. Check the class booking page for details.
Do I get to take my cake or cupcakes home?
Yes, unless you choose to decorate a practice cake during our
Vintage Cake Piping & Writing class. You'll leave with your completed cake or cupcakes in a sturdy box so you can safely transport and enjoy your creations at home.
Are all supplies included?
Yes. We provide everything you'll need, including decorating tools, frosting, sprinkles, ingredients, and packaging. You don't need to purchase or bring any special equipment.
Which Cake Decorating 101 class should I take first?
While each class stands on its own, we recommend beginning with Part 1: Stacking, Filling & Frosting, then continuing with Part 2: Vintage Cake Piping & Writing, and finally Part 3: Easy Buttercream Flowers. Together, the three classes provide a strong foundation in beginner cake decorating.
What if I've already taken one of these classes?
You're always welcome to join again! Many students repeat classes to build confidence, refine their techniques, and practice new decorating designs.
