Planning a birthday or special celebration at home, in a park, or at another venue? Cake Hoopla’s to-go party kits make it easy to host a hands-on, unforgettable, and delicious decorating party wherever you are!

Here’s how it works:

Click "Book Now" to choose your date and event details. Pick between cakes or cupcakes, then let us know your design—whether it’s a party theme, team colors, or even a company logo.
Reserve your date with a refundable $150 deposit. This deposit applies toward your final party price. Once your deposit is paid, we’ll follow up via email or phone to finalize the rest of the details.
Pick up your kit at our Tigard studio on your scheduled date. Pay the remaining balance when you arrive, and grab everything you need for decorating fun.
Decorate and celebrate! Each guest gets a personal decorating kit filled with pre-baked treats, colorful frosting, fondant, sprinkles, tools, and a to-go box. It’s both the activity and the party favor.
Cleanup is a breeze. Toss the eco-friendly, single-use containers when you’re done. Any reusable tools like piping tips and fondant cutters are yours to keep.
Need extra support? Ask about hiring a Hoopla Helper for delivery, setup, and a live decorating demo. This optional add-on is available for parties with a $500 minimum, billed at $50/hour (including travel time). Subject to availability.

Cake Kits:

Starting at $40/decorator
Minimum: 10 decorators

Minimum pricing include cake/cupcakes, fondant, frosting, sprinkles, fondant cutter(s), a wood spatula, parchment placemat, and a to-go cake/cupcake box per decorator. Add apron decorating to your order for $40 for 10 aprons + $3 for each additional apron.

Cancellation Policy

A $150 deposit is due at the time of booking. The remaining balance will be collected prior to your pickup time.

Orders must be canceled with at least 10 days' notice to be eligible for a full refund. If canceled with less than 10 days' notice but more than 2 days' notice, event credit will be issued.

Cancellations within 2 days of the event cannot be refunded.

Any changes to the order details (like the number of cakes) should be communicated to Cake Hoopla by email at hey@cakehoopla.com or by phone at 971.610.6530.

Due to short notice, it may be difficult to make changes to your order within 2 days of the order pickup. But we'll try!

Mobile Workshop

We're happy to convert your event into an onsite mobile workshop, where a Hoopla Helper guides decorators through the design process. We'll bring all the cakes/cupcakes, tools, and know-how to help your guests decorate like pros. A minimum order of $500 is required for mobile workshops.

Cake Care Instructions

If you're not quite ready to decorate, store the cake/cupcakes and ingredients in the fridge. There is no need to refrigerate fondant or sprinkles.

Cakes/cupcakes are best decorated at room temperature. Remove the cake/cupcakes and ingredients from the fridge 1 hour before decorating or serving to bring them to room temperature.

If frozen, let the cake/cupcakes and all ingredients thaw to room temperature. This may take a few hours.

Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.

Second year in a row with the best cupcake party

Cake Hoopla didn’t disappoint, second year in a row my little one wanted to do cupcake decorating again instead of a cake for her 5th birthday. She and her friends loved it. She picked the colors and the theme, cake hookup gave two amazing options from that to choose from and the event was an amazing success. We love doing this as all the kids have so much fun decorating them and most took the second one home. We love this activity so much. Can’t recommend them enough.
