Love paint-and-sip nights? Try painting on cake instead of canvas! Cake Hoopla's Cake Paint & Sip in Tigard puts a delicious twist on the traditional Portland painting night, with a palette of colorful buttercreams to use as paint.

Using palette knives and paintbrushes, you’ll transform your blank white cake canvas into an edible work of art. There's no set design to follow. Choose your colors, experiment with different techniques, and create a cake that’s completely your own. No painting or cake-decorating experience is needed.

Each ticket includes:

  • One glass of red or white wine (21+) or nonalcoholic alternative
  • One pre-frosted 6-inch, 3-layer cake to decorate and take home
  • A palette of colorful buttercream paints
  • Palette knives and paintbrushes to use during the event
  • A cake box for carrying your cake home

Additional beer, wine, cider, hard seltzers, nonalcoholic beverages, and more will be available for purchase.

What to Know

Location: Cake Hoopla, 7173 SW Dartmouth St., Tigard, OR 97223. Just a few minutes from Portland!

Decorate at your own pace. Cake Hoopla staff will get you set up and share tips for working with buttercream paints, palette knives, and paintbrushes. From there, the cake is your canvas! With no step-by-step instruction, you'll take your time, follow your creativity, sip your drink, and chat with the people around you—or simply settle in and enjoy some creative time to yourself.

Your cake: Each guest will decorate a pre-frosted 6-inch, 3-layer cake that serves approximately 10–12. Your finished cake will be boxed up for you to take home at the end of the night.

What to wear: Cake decorating can get messy! Don't worry, we have aprons you can borrow. 

Age requirement: Adults 18 years and older.

Cancellation Policy

Your booking can be canceled up to 5 days before the event. If you need to cancel your booking with less than 5 days' notice, you will be issued an electronic gift card equal to the price of your booking. No-shows will not be refunded.

Cake Care Instructions

Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.

Cakes/cupcakes are best consumed at room temperature. Remove the cake/cupcakes from the fridge 1 hour before serving, or from the freezer 2 hours before serving, to bring them to room temperature.
