cake care instructions

Cakes/cupcakes are best decorated at room temperature. If frozen, let the cake/cupcakes and all ingredients thaw to room temperature. This may take a few hours. If you're not quite ready to decorate, store the cake/cupcakes and ingredients in the fridge.

Remove the cake/cupcakes and ingredients from the fridge 1 hour before decorating or serving to bring them to room temperature.

When you're ready to decorate, carefully remove any plastic wrap from around the cake and remove cupcakes from their holders.

Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.

pickup policy

Please arrive at your scheduled pickup time for cakes, cupcakes, and decorating kits. If you cannot make your scheduled time, call 971-610-6530. Orders will be held for up to 48 hours after the pickup time. After that, Cake Hoopla may dispose of the order without refund.

Eat the cake/cupcakes at room temperature.

For cakes: Run a large knife in hot water, dry it with a towel, slice the cake. Wipe clean between cutting each slice. Repeat as the knife cools.

How far in advance should I order a custom cake?

We recommend placing your custom cake order at least 1–2 weeks in advance to
ensure availability. For more detailed or large orders, additional lead time
may be required. If you need something sooner, feel free to reach out—we’ll do
our best to accommodate!

What flavors are available for custom cakes?

Cake Hoopla offers a selection of delicious and popular flavors, including
vanilla, chocolate, fetti (birthday cake flavor), vegan chocolate, and
gluten-sensitive fetti. We also offer custom cake fillings upon request, like
cookies and cream, raspberry, cream cheese frosting, fresh berries, and more.
Availability may vary based on your design and order timing.

Do you offer vegan or gluten-sensitive options?

Yes! We offer a vegan chocolate cake option, along with gluten-sensitive fetti
cakes and cupcakes. While the gluten-sensitive fetti options are made without
gluten ingredients, and vegan cakes are made without animal products, they are
prepared in a shared kitchen, so cross-contamination is possible. Please let us
know about any dietary needs when placing your order.

Can I provide a design or inspiration photo?

Absolutely. We welcome inspiration photos, color palettes, logos, and theme
ideas. Our team will use your inspiration as a guide to create a custom design

Custom cake pricing depends on factors like size, design complexity, and
special details. Simple designs start at a lower price point, while more
detailed or themed cakes may cost more. Three-layer 6” cakes start at $60 and
cupcakes start at $55/dozen. Reach out with your ideas for a personalized
