  • Custom cakes: Starting at $65 for a 6-inch, 3-layer cake (serves approximately 10–12).
  • Custom cupcakes: Starting at $35 for 6 or $55 for 12.

  3. Pay a $50 deposit to place your order. We'll review your request and confirm your final price.

Deposit & Refund Policy: Your $50 deposit is applied toward your final purchase price. Deposits are refundable if we cannot accommodate your request or you decline our quote at least 48 hours before pickup. Deposits become nonrefundable once an order is approved or within 48 hours of pickup if we cannot finalize the order due to missing information or lack of response.

Good to know

We offer vegan chocolate and gluten-sensitive cake and cupcake options, along with specialty fillings. Gluten-sensitive items are prepared in a shared kitchen where cross-contact is possible.

Need a last-minute cake? Call us at 971-610-6530. Orders placed fewer than 3 days before pickup are subject to a $20 rush fee and availability.

1. How much do custom cakes and cupcakes cost?

Our custom cakes start at $65 for a 6-inch, 3-layer cake. Custom cupcakes start at $35 for six or $55 per dozen. Final pricing depends on your design, flavors, and special requests. We'll review your order and confirm the final price before getting started.

2. How does the $50 deposit and refund policy work?

A $50 deposit reserves your pickup date and time and is applied toward your final purchase price. After reviewing your design requests, we'll confirm your total, with the remaining balance due at pickup.

If we can't accommodate your request or you don't approve the quoted price, we'll refund your deposit, provided you notify us at least 48 hours before your scheduled pickup time. Once you approve your order, your deposit becomes nonrefundable. Your deposit also becomes nonrefundable within 48 hours of pickup if we're unable to finalize your order because you haven't responded to our requests for necessary information.

3. How far in advance should I order a custom cake or cupcakes?

We recommend ordering 1–2 weeks in advance, especially for detailed designs or larger orders. Need something sooner? We'll do our best to accommodate! A $20 rush fee applies to orders placed fewer than three days before pickup.

4. What size cakes do you offer, and how many people do they serve?

Our standard cakes are 6 inches in diameter and start at three layers, serving approximately 10–12 people (or up to 16 when professionally sliced). We can add layers for additional servings or create custom shapes, including hearts, ovals, squares, and sculpted designs. While our round cakes are limited to 6 inches in diameter, we're happy to explore creative options for your celebration, including matching cupcakes for larger groups.

5. Can you recreate a design or match my party theme?

Absolutely! We create custom cakes and cupcakes inspired by birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, favorite characters, and more. Share your design ideas, colors, or inspiration links when ordering, or email photos to hey@cakehoopla.com. We'll let you know what's possible!

6. What cake and cupcake flavors do you offer?

We offer fetti, vanilla, chocolate, vegan chocolate, and gluten-sensitive fetti cakes and cupcakes. Cakes can also be customized with fillings such as cookies and cream, raspberry, cheesecake, fresh strawberries, and lemon. Select your preferred flavors and fillings when ordering.

7. Do you offer vegan or gluten-sensitive cakes and cupcakes?

Yes! We offer vegan chocolate and gluten-sensitive fetti cakes and cupcakes. Our gluten-sensitive options are made without gluten ingredients but are prepared in a shared kitchen where cross-contact is possible. They are not suitable for people with celiac disease or severe gluten allergies. Please let us know about any dietary needs when ordering.

8. Where do I pick up my custom cake or cupcakes? Do you offer delivery?

Custom orders are available for pickup at Cake Hoopla, located at 7173 SW Dartmouth St. in Tigard, Oregon, conveniently located near Portland, Beaverton, and Lake Oswego.
