How Ordering Works
Reserve your custom cake or cupcakes by selecting your pickup time at checkout and placing a $50 deposit. Your deposit is applied toward your final total, with the remaining balance due in the Cake Hoopla studio when you pick up your order.
After booking:

- We’ll contact you for your theme, flavors, and inspiration photos
- We’ll provide a final quote based on your design
- We’ll create your order and have it ready for pickup at your scheduled time

Custom Cakes
Our custom cakes are 6-inch round cakes that start at 3 layers tall and typically serve about 10–12 people (up to 16 when professionally sliced). Need to serve more guests? Add extra cake layers or matching cupcakes.

Our custom cupcakes are standard size (about 2.5 inches in diameter) and can be ordered in multiples of 6.

Cakes/cupcakes are best decorated at room temperature. If frozen, let the cake/cupcakes and all ingredients thaw to room temperature. This may take a few hours. If you're not quite ready to decorate, store the cake/cupcakes and ingredients in the fridge.
Remove the cake/cupcakes and ingredients from the fridge 1 hour before decorating or serving to bring them to room temperature.
When you're ready to decorate, carefully remove the plastic wrap from around the cake and remove cupcakes from their holders.
Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.
pickup policy
Please arrive at your scheduled pickup time for cakes, cupcakes, and decorating kits. If you cannot make your scheduled time, call 971-610-6530. Orders will be held for up to 48 hours after the pickup time. After that, Cake Hoopla may dispose of the order without refund.

Wipe the drool from your face.
Eat the cake/cupcakes at room temperature.
For cakes: Run a large knife in hot water, dry it with a towel, slice the cake. Wipe clean between cutting each slice. Repeat as the knife cools.

How far in advance should I order a custom cake?
We recommend placing your custom cake order at least 1–2 weeks in advance to ensure availability. More detailed or larger orders may require additional lead time. If you need something sooner, please reach out—we’ll do our best to accommodate. A $20 rush fee applies for custom orders placed fewer than 3 days before pickup.
What flavors are available for custom cakes?
Cake Hoopla offers vanilla, chocolate, fetti, vegan chocolate, and gluten-sensitive fetti. Custom fillings may also be available upon request, including cookies and cream, raspberry, cream cheese frosting, fresh berries, and more. Availability may vary based on your design and order timing.
How does the deposit work?

Do you offer vegan or gluten-sensitive options?
Yes. We offer vegan chocolate cake and cupcakes, along with gluten-sensitive fetti cakes and cupcakes. Vegan cakes are made without animal products, and gluten-sensitive options are made without gluten ingredients. However, all items are prepared in a shared kitchen, so cross-contamination is possible. Please let us know about any dietary needs when placing your order.
Can I provide a design or inspiration photo?
Absolutely. We welcome inspiration photos, color palettes, logos, and theme ideas. Our team will use your inspiration as a guide to create a custom design that works beautifully in cake form. You can email design photos to hey@cakehoopla.com.

What size cakes do you offer, and how many people do they serve?

Can you match my party theme or custom colors?
Yes. We create custom cakes and cupcakes inspired by birthdays, weddings, baby showers, graduations, sports teams, favorite colors, and themed celebrations. Custom colors and specialty ingredients may affect pricing.
Do you make wedding cakes?
Yes. Cake Hoopla offers custom wedding cakes, cutting cakes, cupcakes, and dessert options for weddings and celebrations.
Do you offer mini cupcakes?
We do not currently offer mini cupcakes, but our cake bites are a great alternative and are approximately the same size. Cake bites start at $36 for 24.
Do you deliver custom cakes?

Easy process. Great value and a beautiful cake. I paid the deposit and received an email a few days before the pickup date with some options for a custom dinosaur cake. I chose one and picked it up on the day without issue. Cake had rave reviews from everyone and my 3 year old said it was his favorite part of his party. Excellent experience all around.
