Celebrate fall while you level up your cake-decorating skills at Cake Hoopla’s beginner-friendly class in Tigard, Oregon. In this class, you’ll learn how to take an already stacked and crumb-coated cake and transform it into a beautifully finished dessert inspired by sunflowers and the warmth of autumn.
You’ll practice frosting a bakery-level finishing layer, piping elegant designs like borders and rosettes, and writing clean, personalized messages—perfect for birthdays, Friendsgiving gatherings, and holiday tables.
Whether you’re building on skills from Part 1 of our 2-part beginner series or jumping in here for the first time, you’ll leave with new techniques, more confidence, and a stunning autumn-inspired cake.

- Choose to decorate a real 3-layer 6” cake to take home or practice on a fake cake for skill-building only.
- Expert instruction, including how to:
- achieve a flawless finishing layer of frosting,
- use a variety of piping tips and techniques to pipe sunflowers, borders, rosettes, drop strings, and written messages—practice first, then bring your design to life on your cake!

Your booking can be canceled up to 5 days before the event. If you need to cancel your booking with less than 5 days' notice, you will be issued an electronic gift card equal to the price of your booking. No-shows will not be refunded.

Cake Care Instructions
Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.
Cakes/cupcakes are best consumed at room temperature. Remove the cake/cupcakes from the fridge 1 hour before serving, or from the freezer 2 hours before serving, to bring them to room temperature.
