In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll discover how to confidently decorate cakes using this versatile and fun icing. Whether you're new to Cake Hoopla’s 4-part Cake Decorating 101 series or just popping in for this grand finale, our Decorating with Fondant class is perfect for all skill levels—no prior classes required!

Our friendly instructors will guide you through the essentials step by step, making fondant feel approachable. You’ll learn to color fondant, cover a cake, create simple figures, and even paint on fondant. By the end, you’ll have newfound skills and a beautifully decorated cake to take home and proudly show off.

Everything you need is provided—just bring your creativity and get ready for a fun, hands-on experience!

What’s Included:

  • Professional instruction, teaching you the fondant basics, including coloring, rolling, molding, and shaping fondant; painting fondant; and covering a cake.
  • A short 1-layer 6" cake (feeds around 3) in your choice of flavor to practice covering with fondant. 
  • Handy to-go box.

Cancellation Policy

Your booking can be canceled up to 5 days before the event. If you need to cancel your booking with less than 5 days' notice, you will be issued an electronic gift card equal to the price of your booking. No-shows will not be refunded.

Cake Care Instructions

Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.

Cakes/cupcakes are best consumed at room temperature. Remove the cake/cupcakes from the fridge 1 hour before serving, or from the freezer 2 hours before serving, to bring them to room temperature.
