Cake Camp: Spooky Summer, August 3-6, Grades 2-6
Cake Camp: Spooky Summer, August 3-6, Grades 2-6
Calling all ghoulie creatives and cake lovers! Spooky Summer Cake Camp is a four-day, Halloween-inspired cake camp designed for slightly older kids who love creepy-cute themes, bold designs, and hands-on creativity. Think spooky classics like ghosts, bats, pumpkins, spiderwebs, and monsters—playful and imaginative, with just the right amount of Halloween edge.
During this spooky Cake Camp (August 3–6, 2026), campers will decorate cakes and cupcakes while learning and practicing core cake-decorating techniques with a Halloween twist. Campers will explore decorating with frosting and fondant, including mastering a smooth buttercream finish on a cake, piping borders and details, and shaping fondant into themed elements like ghosts, eyeballs, and jack-o-lanterns. On the final day, each camper decorate their own 6" spooky cake masterpiece to take home.
Beyond cake decorating, campers will dive into tons of Halloween-inspired creative fun. They’ll decorate a reusable apron, sketch design ideas in a notebook, create a custom sprinkle blend to take home, play Halloween-inspired games, and earn Cake Camp Achievements as they build skills and confidence throughout the week.
To cap off the camp, the final day features a spooky celebration: campers are invited to dress up in costume and enjoy face painting and a popcorn party to celebrate everything they’ve learned.
Returning campers are welcome! Activities and creative prompts are thoughtfully refreshed each year to ensure a fun and engaging experience for both new and returning campers.
