inclement weather policy
At Cake Hoopla, your safety and convenience are our top priority. In the event of inclement weather that may impact your visit, event, or kit pickup, we have the following policy in place:

Booking Cancellations:
If severe weather conditions cause Cake Hoopla to cancel a non-party booking (including open studio time, workshops, and classes), we will notify you no later than 2 hours before the event or booking via email and/or social media. You will have the option to reschedule for a new date or receive a full refund. -
Unable to Attend Due to Weather:
If weather conditions make it difficult for you to attend an event or booking with Cake Hoopla, please reach out to us. We’ll be happy to issue an electronic gift card for the value of your booking, which you can use for a future event or open studio time at Cake Hoopla. - Parties: If Cake Hoopla remains open, all scheduled parties will take place as planned. If you cancel a party due to weather concerns but the studio is open, our standard cancellation policy applies. If we determine that it is unsafe to open due to severe weather conditions, we will reschedule your party at no additional cost or issue a Cake Hoopla event credit for the full amount paid, valid for a future party booking. Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds in the event of a studio closure due to weather.

Cake/Cupcake Pickups:
If you’re unable to pick up your cake or cupcake kit or pre-decorated cakes/cupcakes due to inclement weather, please contact us. We will be happy to reschedule your pickup. -
No-Shows:
Please note that if you do not show up for your event, booking, or kit pickup without prior communication, no refunds will be issued. We prepare everything in advance, including supplies and staff, to ensure your experience is seamless. If you’re unable to attend, we encourage you to reach out as early as possible so we can assist in rescheduling or offering alternative solutions.
