Get ready for a sweet experiment in creativity! Sprinkles & Science is a hands-on cupcake-decorating event for toddlers and preschoolers (ages 3–6) and their grownups—hosted at Cake Hoopla in Tigard, just a few minutes from Portland.
At this playful, self-paced event, little ones become mini scientists as they
- color their own frosting using food coloring
- mix fondant colors to make new shades
- decorate cupcakes in their own unique way
- use science-themed fondant cutters to personalize their cupcakes
- visit our Sprinkle Scientist photo booth with goggles, lab coats, and fun props
- play the Sprinkle Sorting Game—find all the hidden objects to win a prize!
Each $20 ticket includes entry for 1 child + 1 adult, 2 cupcakes, decorating materials, and access to all interactive stations. Add more cupcakes or participants to extend the fun!
This event is designed for fun, creativity, and sensory play—with just enough science to spark curiosity. Families are welcome to drop in anytime during the 3-hour window.

Your booking can be canceled up to 5 days before the event. If you need to cancel your booking with less than 5 days' notice, you will be issued an electronic gift card equal to the price of your booking. No-shows will not be refunded.

Cake Care Instructions
Store leftovers in an air-tight container in the fridge for up to 5 days or in the freezer for up to 1 month. To avoid color changes, store the cake/cupcakes out of direct light.
Cakes/cupcakes are best consumed at room temperature. Remove the cake/cupcakes from the fridge 1 hour before serving, or from the freezer 2 hours before serving, to bring them to room temperature.
